Green Home Systems has completed a programme of energy efficiency upgrades for leading social housing provider Cunninghame Housing Association.
The works included upgrading fabric insulation by installing cavity wall insulation for the social housing provider and bringing their housing stock into line with national energy efficiency standards.
The Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) was created to help remove poor energy efficiency as a driver for fuel poverty and to contribute to achieving the Scottish Government’s climate change emissions reduction targets.
Green Home Systems was established in 2014 and has completed over 16,500 energy efficiency projects to date which has lifted more than 7,000 families out of fuel poverty.
They are specialist energy efficiency contractors, and operate to government-recognised PAS2030/35 and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) quality standards.
Cunningham Housing Association is a leading Social Landlord and Social Enterprise.
Established in 1984, it lets more than 3,000 homes in and around Ayrshire and prioritises tenant welfare, quality homes, and stronger communities.
