Installing an electric vehicle (EV) charge point at your home gives you the freedom to charge when you want and maximise cost savings with an EV-friendly energy tariff.
Having an EV charger located on your property could increase your home’s value and reduces the cost of owning an electric vehicle.

What funding is available for your home EV charging points?
Home Energy Scotland ('HES') is funded by the Scottish Government and run by the Energy Saving Trust, so if you don't qualify for ECO4 funding there is still a lot of help available.
This funding is a mix of interest free loans and cashback (effectively a grant) and this funding is not means tested.
The only qualifications are that you must own your own home and be located in Scotland.
The maximum amount available per home is up to £17,000.
